ElaQprem - Elastomers with Quality Guarantee

We know what's inside!

Rubber is not just rubber!

Elastomers consist of a multitude of components:

- Rubber
- Fillers
- Pigments
- Plasticizers
- Processing aids
- Antiageing agent
- Vulcanizing agent
- Vulcanization accelerators and retarders
- Activators
- Other compound components

Bottom line: Don't buy anywhere – you'll get something – but probably not the quality you can rightly expect.

ElaQprem elastomer materials guarantee you the following properties:

- Consistent product quality
- Compounding for the most comprehensive operating conditions possible
- Detailed inspection of all incoming deliveries
- Inexpensive but not "cheap"

Certified material analyses

The quality of the elastomers cannot be reliably determined by VIEWING, TOUCHING or SMELLING. Only a detailed material analysis can provide certainty.

We test the physical properties of our materials in our laboratory . The chemical components are tested by experts at the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences.

Testing in our own laboratory Testing in Merseburg
Dimensional inspection TGA (thermogravimetric Analysis)
Density determination IR spectroscopy (infrared spectroscopy)
Hardness measurement (Shore A) DSC (dynamic differential calorimetry)
Tear strength Pyrolysis GC/MS (pyrolysis gas chromatography/ mass spectrometry)
Elongation at break

Our ElaQprem qualities

Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH Regulation) is an EU chemicals regulation that came into force on 1 June 2007. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. As an EU regulation, REACH is valid in all member states.

The REACH regulation serves to maintain the health of people and the environment.

"RoHS" stands for "Restriction of Hazardous Substances" and thus for prohibitions or restrictions of hazardous substances. These include, for example, lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). All these substances are not contained in RoHS labeled goods. This is based on EC Directive 2002/95/EC.

The "PAH" abbreviation stands for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. PAH is a group of substances whose molecular structure consists of at least three interconnected benzene rings.

PAHs are contained in tar, crude oil, mineral oil products, but also in and on many foodstuffs. Humans also absorb PAHs from the air. PAH is released by car exhaust fumes, open fires and cigarette smoke. Some PAH compounds are classified as carcinogenic.
